GMAT Comes to Asia As it Continues to Spread Globally

The largest continent, Asia is the fastest growing area on the planet today in terms of development and enterprise. Of course, a test like the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), a placement test that the competence and performance of the students attested emerging companies, realizing the popularity of MBA programs is the first choice for Asian students.

The number of Indian applicants to the GMAT more than doubled, from 13 544 to take in 2005 to 30 633 in 2009, while the number of Chinese candidates in the GMAT is increased from 8554 in 2005 to 265 613 in 2009. 30% of the 256 613 people who attended the GMAT exam in 2009 were citizens from Asia. Interest in business and management education in India and China focus, the number of candidates of the two countries accounted for almost 70% of GMAT test of 79 096 Asians answered in 2009.

Research by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) survey shows an increase in the amount of Asian people take the GMAT each year, has 75 percent from 2005 to 2009, the easily replaced, the number of GMAT tests carried out in the world during the same period. The number of reports on the GMAT business and management schools in Asia has tripled in the last five years, increasing interest in MBA programs and management graduate.
