President Obama’s Education For Moms – The Best Solution For Moms Who Want to Go Back to Work?

July 11th, 2010

Obama cares about education and mothers want to return to school to get a diploma. He asked Congress to apply and share their money where their mouth is and now mothers can for up to $ 5,500 in the form of a grant Pell.

And that’s not all. The money has received from the Pell Grant, not only the traditional institutions of learning but also to get to a certain degree online. This allows mothers to continue working and go to school without having to pay more care and miss their children’s life events.

Why President Obama to do? Because he knows that single mothers who work for minimum wage dead end. He knows that the mothers who went back to school and received a university degree 20 years ago to work without marketable skills. He knows that the university in America is ridiculously expensive, and the lower end would cost someone $ 9,000 per year.

So where’s the catch?

First, for a Pell Grant, that Obama would be helpful if you are a single mother with low income are eligible for. If you are not a single mother, you must meet certain criteria of income. For mothers who are in the middle income group, it is unlikely that you will receive.

Second, how does $ 5.500 to go anyway? How can I pay the rest of the loans, which are obliged to go to school? The last thing the mothers and families need in this economy is more debt.

Third, after these mothers will receive their diploma, where a job to do? Would you like a mother, really want to put your children in day care 10 hours a day, five days a week you go back into the business world?

Obama is on the way to get help before mother financially. But there are other ways for mothers to study and an income at home for much less than a year of schooling.
