Two generations and six decades later, her son received, the student twenty years teaching English and French official, dozens of educators on three continents. Today, their little son of the teacher, many new funds, but the challenges continued. I have to offer a class of ten minutes eleven years ago, access to tutors, advisers, administrators, staff development seminars, educational materials and technology to my students in our small town of Penetanguishene, Ontario, from anywhere in the world.
Why education remains a challenge? Children are still children, with all the challenges of the past year – discipline, attention, self esteem, peer pressure and parents and homework. Another important challenge is that students are a big global village now, with big global issues. In this new world, the information is a breeze to all corners of the earth. This influence high-speed digital highway most aspects of society. Financial services, healthcare, military, government, and transport are some examples of high-speed data collection, storage and treatment are always the way we do business.
This tidal wave of technology has now arrived in school today, is revolutionizing the way teachers teach and students learn. How does this happen?
